Swank Energy Income Advisors, LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swank Capital, LLC is one of the premier managers of publicly traded energy infrastructure MLP assets. Swank is located in Dallas, Texas and launched the first ever MLP Hedge Fund-The Cushing Fund, LP-in January 2003.

The majority of assets under management at Swank Capital are in actively managed Hedge Funds with a growing base of Long Only and Separate Account mandates. Our portfolios are managed by one of the deepest and most experienced investment teams in the midstream energy business on behalf of high net worth individuals and institutional investors worldwide.

Swank has 12 dedicated investment professionals, as well as, a dedicated business team including a CFO, General Counsel, and Controller. The investment team is multifaceted having multiple years of portfolio management experience, energy research experience and direct energy company relationships and experience. Our staff of 18 includes eleven MBAs, two CFAs, two PEs (professional engineers), two CPAs, and an FRM (financial risk manager). The senior team has, on average, been investing in energy companies for more than 20 years. Many have worked directly in the energy industry, gaining valuable insights into the energy supply chain dynamics and the rest have been on the Wall Street side, analyzing companies in the energy sector – specifically the MLPs.

Depth of Knowledge
We build and maintain detailed financial models on all public energy infrastructure MLPs. Prior to founding Swank Capital, LLC, Jerry Swank has spent 30 years on Wall Street in various capacities, as well as, running a highly-regarded independent oil and gas research firm just prior to launching Swank Capital.
