Jerry V. Swank
Founder, Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager

Jerry V. Swank, Founder and Managing Partner of Swank Capital, has 35 years of experience in investment management and investment analysis.  Prior to founding Swank Capital in 2000, Mr. Swank was President and CEO of John S. Herold, Inc, a 50-year old independent oil & gas research and consulting company. During his Herold tenure, Mr. Swank spoke frequently both domestically and abroad on the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Herold, Mr. Swank spent 14 years with CS First Boston in Institutional Equity and Fixed Income Sales in its Dallas office; during the last ten years he was a First Boston Director and Southwestern Regional Sales Manager.  Prior to First Boston, Mr. Swank worked for seven years as a buy-side analyst and portfolio manager. Mr. Swank holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri (Economics) and an M.B.A. from the University of North Texas. Mr. Swank has served on the Board of Directors of John S. Herold Inc., Matador Petroleum and Advantage Acceptance Inc.  He currently serves on the board of E-T Energy Ltd.

Libby F. Toudouze
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Libby F. Toudouze, Partner and Portfolio Manager for Swank Capital’s Long Only MLP funds and sub-advised Hedge Funds.  Ms. Toudouze has 24 years of experience in the investment management business.  Prior to joining Swank Capital, she established and ran a family office, where her responsibilities included developing investment policies, creating an asset allocation framework, and analyzing investments in both private and public markets. Prior to that she spent a combined seven years in the private wealth management business at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and  Bank of America.  Previously she worked for ten years at hedge fund Paragon Associates as an analyst, trader, and portfolio manager.   She worked on the institutional trading desk at Merrill Lynch for three years prior to Paragon and has had experience working on the floor of the NYSE.  Ms. Toudouze received her BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.

Daniel L. Spears
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Daniel L. Spears, Partner and Portfolio Manager of the Swank MLP Convergence Fund, L.P. has 14 years of investment management and investment banking experience, all in the natural resource sector.  Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2006, Mr. Spears was an investment banker in the Natural Resources Group at Banc of America Securities LLC for eight years.  Prior to that, Mr. Spears was in the Global Energy and Power Investment Banking Group at Salomon Smith Barney.  Mr. Spears currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lonestar Midstream, L.P. and Quest Midstream Partners, L.P.  Mr. Spears received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Gallagher, CFA
Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager

Kevin Gallagher, CFA, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for The Cushing GP Strategies Fund, L.P. has fifteen years of investment management and investment research experience. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, he provides research for the other MLP-related funds at Swank Capital. For the five years prior to joining Swank Capital, Mr. Gallagher was a senior research associate with RBC Capital Markets covering the Diversified Energy, E&P, and MLP sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Gallagher spent four years at GMAC-RFC, where he helped manage a portfolio of cash and investments.   Mr. Gallagher earned a BS in Economics and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.  In 2004, he received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Judd Cryer
Senior Vice President

Judd Cryer, Senior Vice President has seven years of experience as an energy industry engineer, and three years of experience as an investment analyst.  He joined Swank Capital in 2005 where his primary responsibilities are providing research coverage of MLPs.  Prior to joining Swank Capital, Mr. Cryer spent seven years in different aspects of engineering in the energy industry.  This included three years as a consulting engineer in the utility industry and three years as a project engineer in the oil and gas equipment industry. Mr. Cryer received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and he received an M.B.A. in finance from Southern Methodist University.

John Musgrave
Vice President

John Musgrave, Vice President has six years of experience as an investment analyst in the energy industry.  He joined Swank Capital in 2007 where his primary responsibilities are providing research coverage of MLPs.  Prior to joining Swank Capital, Mr. Musgrave spent two years in Citigroup’s investment banking division where he focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in a wide range of industries.  Prior to that, he also worked as an analyst for UBS Investment Bank’s Global Energy Group.  Mr. Musgrave received his BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University.

N. Paul Euseppi, CPA
Senior Research Analyst

N. Paul Euseppi, CPA, Senior Research Analyst has four years of experience as an investment analyst in the energy industry. His primary responsibilities include coverage of certain MLP sub-sectors, maintaining detailed models of MLP’s under coverage and assisting on private transactions when necessary. Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2008, he was a financial analyst in the global energy investment banking unit at Citi Global Markets where he focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. Euseppi also worked as a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the transaction services division where he focused on energy transactions.  Mr. Euseppi received his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and his MBA from Texas Tech University.

G. Paul Ferguson
Partner and Portfolio Manager

G. Paul Ferguson, Partner and Portfolio Manager of The Dalrymple Global Master Resources Fund, L.P. has eight years of experience in investment management and research analysis, and ten years of direct experience in various sectors of the energy industry.  Prior to his current position as manager the Dalrymple Funds, he was the Director of Research and research analyst for The Cushing Fund, L.P.  Prior to joining Swank Capital, Mr. Ferguson was an equity research analyst in the energy group at Frost Securities, where he focused on the midstream energy services sector.  He was a petroleum engineer at Kerr-McGee for five years, and served three years as an operations engineer with Koch Gateway Pipeline Company and Delhi Gas Pipeline.  Mr. Ferguson’s industry experience also includes two years in energy portfolio risk management. Mr. Ferguson received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University.  Mr. Ferguson is a registered professional engineer (inactive) in mechanical engineering.

Senior Managing Director, Business Development

Parker Roy, Senior Managing Director in charge of retail distribution, has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years and in marketing and distribution for 24 years. Parker joined Salomon Smith Barney in 1995 as a Financial Consultant, moved into management in 2005 as a Regional Director with Citi Smith Barney, and in 2008 was elevated to a national role as the National Business Development Director with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Consulting Group. Mr. Roy received his MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA and a BA in Economics from Rollins College in Winter Parke, FL.

Saket Kumar
Research Analyst

Saket Kumar, Research Analyst has three years of experience as an engineer and two years experience in investment research and investment banking.  Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2008, he spent three years in the marine transportation industry specializing in dry bulk and crude oil shipping.  Prior to that he was an associate in the transportation division of the investment banking group at Bear Stearns.  Mr. Kumar received an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in marine engineering  from Marine Engineering and Research Institute in India.  He is also the recipient of the President Gold Medal awarded each year by the President of India to the best marine engineering graduate nationwide.

Chris Cocotos
Vice President

Chris Cocotos, Vice President and Senior Equity Trader has ten years of experience in investment management and as a trader.  Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2006, he was a trader at Banyan Equity Management, a global macro hedge fund.  Previously, he worked for a combined five years in Lehman Brothers Private Client Group and Merrill Lynch Private Bank & Investment Group.  Mr. Cocotos also has three years experience on the ATP Men’s Professional Tennis Tour. Mr. Cocotos graduated with a B.A. from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

Danny Bergin
Vice President

Danny Bergin, Vice President and Senior Equity Trader has 13 years of experience in investment management and as a trader.  Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2008, he was a trader at RBC Capital Markets on the institutional trading desk.  Prior to that, he worked for a combined nine years at various brokerage firms including a year working on the floor of the NYSE.  Mr. Bergin covered some of the top institutional money management firms across the United States in a sales trading capacity.  Mr. Bergin graduated with a Criminal Justice Degree from Iona College.

Todd Sunderland, CFA, FRM
Senior Vice President and Risk Manager

Todd Sunderland, CFA, Senior Vice President and Risk Manager has five years of experience as an engineer and six years of investment and risk management experience. Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2007, Mr. Sunderland served as Risk Analyst for Spinnerhawk Capital Management. In addition to risk analysis, Mr. Sunderland served as Spinnerhawk’s Chief Operating Officer and performed equity research analysis for alternative energy investments. Prior to that, Mr. Sunderland served as a programmer and Risk Analyst for the Hunt Financial Group. Mr. Sunderland earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation, and is a registered Professional Engineer (inactive) in mechanical engineering.

John H. Alban, CAIA
CFO, Treasurer and Interim Chief Compliance Officer

John H. Alban has 24 years of professional experience in alternative and traditional asset management, operations, compliance, accounting, and fund administration.  At Swank he manages operations, finance, accounting, and tax, and serves as the interim Chief Compliance Officer.  Prior to joining Swank, he served as the Chief Administrative Officer for NGP Energy Capital Management, LLC, a multi-billion dollar energy focused private equity firm.  Prior to that, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for a Dallas-based hedge fund.  His experience also includes trading and portfolio management in futures, equities, and fixed income.  Mr. Alban received his B.A. from Bowdoin College and his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in finance.

Matt Wenk, CPA
Controller

Matt Wenk, CPA, Controller has six years of experience in the investment company industry.  Prior to joining Swank Capital, he was a Supervising Senior at Rothstein, Kass & Company, PLLC providing audit and tax services for hedge funds, fund of funds, and private equity funds.  He focused on master feeder structures, domestic funds, offshore funds, and commodity pool operations that had various investing strategies in investments such as master limited partnerships, privates, long/short equities, options, foreign currencies, futures, swaps, forwards, power contracts, private investment in public entities, and physical uranium.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Mr. Wenk received a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University.

Jennifer Johnson
Managing Director, Investor Relations

Jennifer Johnson, Managing Director of Investor Relations has 13 years of marketing and investor relations experience.  Prior to joining Swank Capital, she was the founder and Managing Director of CKJ Consulting & Associates  a consulting firm specializing in marketing alternative investments to institutional investors.  Prior to founding CKJ she was a wealth advisor at Morgan Stanley in their Washington , DC offices.   Ms. Johnson began her career in marketing at Nextel managing the Mid-Atlantic region.  She received her BA in Historical Studies from University of Texas at Dallas and her MBA in International Business from Schiller International University in Heidelberg Germany.

Curt Pabst
Managing Director, Investor Relations

Curt Pabst, Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations has 28 years of investment management and investor relations experience.  Prior to joining Swank Capital in 2008, Mr. Pabst was a Vice President at Altegris Investments, responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors.  Prior to that, he was a partner at the Santa Barbara Market Neutral Fund, a hedge fund of funds.  Previously he co-founded and co-managed a venture capital fund and a crossover hedge fund that invested in both private and public companies.  Mr. Pabst began his career at Kidder, Peabody in the institutional sales department, and spent a combined 15 years at Kidder and then Merrill Lynch, where he became Director, Western Region Institutional Fixed Income Sales.  Mr. Pabst received his BA in Economics from Grinnell College.
